Would a basketball scout consider someone who has had two knee surgeries?
My daughter, a basketball player, thinks she may be offered a basketball scholarship. Would she even be considered since she has had two knee surgeries, ACL, and meniscus? Or would the knee injuries prevent her from even being considered?|||I believe that the scout would keep the injuries/surgeries in mind, but if they watch her and are blown away, I'm sure they'd consider her. Especially if she's healthy right now.|||Dejuan Blair, a current player for the San Antonio Spurs, had multiple knee surgeries and eventually had to have his ACLs removed in high school. He was still heavily recruited and went to Pittsburgh. So if she is good she will be considered.|||Yes if you are good they will take you, unfortunately if two players have equal talent they'll take the healthier one first.|||if she is really good but keep in mind they will have greg oden injured most of his carrer
