How have basketball rules changed since the Michael Jordon era?

Having lived in Chicago through the 90's and having attended many of those great games, I believe that nobody has surpassed Jordon. Whenever someone throws some stats out there that attempt to contradict that, it is mentioned that the rules of basketball have changed; and if Jordon was still playing today, he'd crush those stats. What's the story behind this? How have the rules changed?|||Well first of all, there still has yet to be another Jordan.

2 things that changed is you are now allowed to play zone defense, you couldn't do that before.

Another is the refs call EVERYTHING. You can not even near play as physical as the 90's Bulls or the 89' Pistons.

Jordan would either be scoring 80 points a game because of how much he would get to the free throw line, or he would foul out in the first 2 quarters.|||it was better back then, when people used to foul hard, it was ok and wasn't even a flagrant foul. Nowadays if you foul someone a little hard they call a flagrant. Jordan would be living at the free throw line these days.|||Travelling, and jordan era they didnt have 3 in the key|||They still don't call travelling !!!!
