is it a possibility to start playing basketball senior year and get recruited to a d-1 school?|||You better be damn good!|||its possible but you shouldn't count on it. most people who accomplish that have been playing all thier lives or almost all their lives. of course you could be great when you first start. so yes its possible

Typically most have walked on to D-1 teams that did not play much high school ball.|||yes it is like he said above me u better be good and u probably would have to start or just get alot of playing time|||What's wrong with playing at a D-2 or a D-3 school ? One is scholarship and one is not. I always mix them up. There are a lot of players who compete at this level and do very well. Each has their own national tourney








Many of their players make it to the NBA. Earl Monroe, whom you may remember, went to Winston Salem St. and made it to the Knicks and Bullets. There are many others.
