What are good workouts for a basketball player?

I am almost 13, I am hoping to be playing basketball for my school this year. I have practice this month, try outs in november, and so forth. I am in good shape but you can always be stronger, and better. What are some good workouts?|||burn mats, pushups , runnn|||The best workout for basketball, is to play more basketball. If you want to be a paint player you can consider lifting weights for bulk and power, but other than that, just play more. Maybe attach an ankle or wrist weight while your shooting around and running, that will tune everything up just fine.|||While playing on a team, you have to run up and down the court for what seems like the longest time. Wht I found has helped me is running suicides. Or I'll run quick sprints for fast break situations.
