What is going on in the wrestling and basketball section?
I havent been on since about 5 hours ago and i get on and everyone in the wrestling and basketball section are fighting. I think it's immature. Yes, wrestlings fake and basketball is real but why can't we just say in our own sections?|||Nothin better to do..Keeps me entertained at least.|||I'm neutral, if you go to the basketball section, a lot of the WS users are on there, i'm staying here in the WS of course, i'm not in this lol, your right its immature|||I just wasted 15 points asking everybody whats the point of this. Some idiots started invading the bbs and making racist jokes and shitt. Its so retarded. But hell they aint gone listen. What is the best basketball team to root for?
I am a new fan of basketball. I am looking for a great team to root for. I want a team that is rich in history and have great players. Any suggestions?|||The San Antonio spurs,they will repeat|||yea i agree with KB24 the spurs r probably the most boring team to ever watch. u see all these old guys running around just shooting and not doing any cool stuff. and plus they're UGLY!!

do not watch spurs or mavs games,they will make you fall asleep. you can root for them, but dont watch their games!|||The Phoenix Suns of course!!! Go Suns|||I would say the Spurs. They are the current Champions and have some of the most UNselfish players in the NBA.|||You could root for the Pistons with me!
You may find you like the Detroit Pistons; They are one of the better teams in the east and are likely to play deep into the playoffs again this year. They won NBA championships in 89, 90, and 2004. Before they were the Detroit Pistons, before the NBA was even formed, back in the 40's and 50's they were the Ft Wayne Pistons.
Back when they dominated things in the late 80's before Jordans rise to power, the Pistons were known as the Bad Boys. Mainly because they indimidated their opponents with hard fouls and reckless play.
Currently they are known for their defensive play.
Peronality-wise, their team centers around the animated but fiercely intesnse Rasheed Wallace. Even at his age (33), he is one of the best players at his position in the league. His temper gets the best of him every now and then and because of that he leads the league in technical fouls. Unlike some teams, Detroit reliese not just on one superstar. Other major contributors include 'Rip' Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, and Teshaun Prince are all all-star calibre players who could each lead their team on any given night. Look for Jason Maxiell to make a name for himself this year with a breakout season.
Everytime the Pistons do something good in a home game, the loud speaker announcer yells out: DEEEEEEEEETROIT BASKETBALL!!!!!!!!!!! And the fans go wild.|||Lakers|||the one closest to you.

How do i get killer handles for basketball?
I wanna be able to get killer handles meaning killer crossovers and not getting the ball stolen. I want to be able to break someone's ankle with my crossovers or trick them so I can get easy baskets. I only have a basketball court at home and nothing else and the basketball goal sucks. So does anybody know any good sites that can actually teach me those things like crossovers and stuff?
Please dont show me sites that makes you buy DVD's and stuff because I cant afford them.|||If you put handles on a basketball, it won't dribble very well|||practice dribbling a tennis ball everyday
itll help u immensely with keeping handles on a basketball because u will get used to being accurate with your hand movements dribbling a much smaller ball
dribble outside, u dont need those useless and expensive DVDS - ballplayers typically get their handles from just hitting the courts, playgrounds, parks every day|||do stationary ball-handling.
Like figure 8s, around both legs both ways, push-pull, spider, and power dribles

Is running and playing basketball right after lunch good for your health?
My kid's school let them play basketball, jumping ropes and running around in the playground right after their lunch time? Is it healthy? What should I say to the school politely to change this if it is not a good routine? Your advice will be greatly appreciated!|||Well if it is a lunch break then definitely so much exercise right after food will not be good for health.You can just meet the concerned teacher and say that your child does not feel very well running about just after a very heavy lunch and you would like them to rethink the routine of the class.

After a heavy meal, there must be a gap of at least 1 hour before kids can feel fine to play.
