How can you get better at basketball while injured?

I have a knee problem and i can stand up on it and walk a little but i cant jump or run. It hurts alot and i dont want to just let it rest b/c i dont feel productive that way and im like addicted to basketball. Can you guys give me some ideas on what to do?|||yea like most of them said just lay down and shoot..... possibly hit a weight room doing arm exercises...... make sure you stretch your legs daily it will help your knee heal faster..........and just remember RICE rest, ice, compression, elevation...... trust me this works a few weeks ago i had a major ankle sprain and i'm getting pretty close to being back to normal|||i would continue to practice dribbling and if you can, stand still and shoot around. you can still work on passing and, if you are on a team, work on the plays. you could even write new ones for your team until you get better. dont try to push yourself to do more than your knee can handle because you want it to heal as soon as possible.|||If its a knee problem, you could work on your shot by laying down, and shooting the ball straight up. We do this at my basketball practice. It works! If you can lay down, just make sure someone is there just in case. You could also work on your arm strength. Just use some 5 or 10 pound weights.|||continue working out but only on the things you can do to stay out of injury this will help you stay fit. practice dribbling with a tennis ball it will improve your handles.

Let's go Heat! lol
